Deuteronomy 7:8-10

⁸ but because the Lord loved you and kept the ^(A)oath which He swore to your forefathers, ^(B)the Lord brought you out by a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of ^[a]slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. ⁹ Know therefore that the Lord your God, ^(C)He is God, ^(D)the faithful God, ^(E)who keeps ^[b]His covenant and ^[c]His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who ^(F)love Him and keep His commandments; ¹⁰ but ^(G)repays those who hate Him to ^[d]their faces, to destroy ^[e]them; He will not delay ^[f]with him who hates Him, He will repay him to his face.
